My husband and I stayed at the Butternut Inn on and off for a year while our home was being built. We found a warm welcome each time we arrived and felt very comfortable roaming around the 7 common rooms and the 11 acres on the river. We returned many times simply because it became our home away from home. More

At first the Inn looked inviting. The rooms are quite worn and the housekeeping has a lot to be desired. Our room was not that clean. The food was fair.
