My boyfriend and I stayed just one night, choosing the Gray Ghost (named for a fishing lure) because of its proximity to Mount Snow (just a mile up the road). The Inn is located right on the access road, conveniently close to many restaurants and bars. A flock of chickens greeted us as we pulled into the parking lot of... More

My family and I, 27 in all, just spent another wonderful holiday at the Gray Ghost Inn. This was our seventh year in a row. We would like to thank Carina & Magnus for their warm & friendly hospitality and for always making us feel at home. Every morning we were served a delicious breakfast, best blueberry pancakes, and always... More

Road up on our bike from NJ. Magnus and Carina were wonderful, we loved the dogs too! Any of the poor reviews on this place are nonsense. Hope to see you during ski season and again next summer. The riding in the area is great both on a snowboard and a bike More

Recently we stayed at the Gray Ghost Inn as part of our annual golf trip. Consisting of 24 guys away from their wives and kids for 4 nights, needless to say we can be a boisterous group. Carina, Magnus, and their family were extremely easy to deal with and very accomodating to our trip. We had both breakfast and dinner... More

We only stayed here one night because we had already booked another inn. We decided we wanted to come into town early and get out for some skiing earlier. The couple that runs this inn were so nice and accommodating. We got into town at almost 11pm and they were waiting with a smile. The room was comfortable and breakfast... More

Although I travel to Vermont at least 2-3 times a year, I hadn't been to the Mount Snow Region in quite some time, and hadn't stayed in the area since the early 1990s. I just got back into skiing, and chose the Gray Ghost, primarily, because of price. It is a "bargain!" I had read the reviews about the hospitality... More

I have been bringing my group, the Jewish Outdoors Club, to the Gray Ghost for many years now. A review is long overdue. The Gray Ghost is absolutely perfect for groups. Unlike many other B and B's it has many rooms, most with at least two beds each, so singles don't need to share beds. It makes for a great... More

Upon arrival at the Gray Ghost Inn, I was a bit worn after my 400 mile Harley ride from Millinocket, Maine. I was quickly registered and shown to my very comfortable room. I had time to hit the pool, and relax in the hot tub before heading out for dinner. A very nice restaurant, just down the road was recommended... More
