This was our first visit to the inn and the we all had a great time. The service was great, very attentive. Innkeepers helped out with things to do and places to go. Loved the breakfast! Post recipes....please!!! I was a little hesitant to book based on reviews, but this is one reason NOT to believe everything you read!!! We... more

Stu Pudd & Karyn A. Child had an awesome time. The murder mystery was orchestrated excellently and John & Deb, (The Hosts), were great. The food was excellent too! A great place to "just" get-a-way in as much as if you plan to take part in a murder mystery weekend, (which I strongly recommend). I promise you that your fun... more

My experience at the Austin Hill Inn was not something to write home about, unless you're looking to tell someone where not to stay. My wife and I were as well "shocked" to what we paid for. We stayed in what was considered one of the best rooms, located in the basement. The room is nothing like what the Inns... more

I stayed at the inn while on a ski weekend. We got in late and the owners were nice to leave us a note on how to get to our room. The doors to the room did not lock. John fixed the lock the next day and showed us that it worked, so that we could lock the door when... more

Last weekend, 27 of us stayed at Austin Hill Inn and participated in the Murder Mystery Weekend. We had a blast! The place, innkeepers, food and Sydney (the dog), were "top notch". Life is too short to nit-pick every little thing and the time you have is what you make of it. If you need more soap, just ask. .... more

The owners of the place totally redeemed themselves in the last few days of my stay. I am glad to say that I left there quite happy. I actually got to speak to the owners and they are quite sweet and attentive. Yeah, the showers could be a little easier to manage, but these are really nice people. Also, they... more

Overall there seemed to be an awkward lack of interaction between Debbie and us. Positives - Breakfast was great and served on time. The room was clean. The dog Sydney was really sweet. The overall ambience of the place was quite good. Negatives- Lack of attention to detail - the tiny soap/shampoo was not replaced on the second day of... more

I went to the Austin Hill Inn for a murder mystery weekend recently and had the time of my life. John was a wonderful host, and a fabulous facilitator for the mystery. The inn itself is lovely on the outside, a little run down on the inside, (some peeling paint here and there) but a fun to place to do... more
