Although this inn is advertised as catering to dogs, we found it to be merely dog-friendly. There was nothing special that we have not encountered in other pet-friendly inns, cabins or hotels. There is, however, an onsite kennel (with an occasional visit from staff.) The large yard has fenced in area with a few pieces of aged and worn agility... more

We visited the Paw House Inn the first weekend in May, and had a great time! We arrived pretty late on a Friday night, and there was a note (welcoming our dog, not us) with directions to our room. We were staying in the Bark Avenue Suite, and it was perfect! The living room was big enough for us, our... more

This really is a sweet little place. It’s not fancy but you can see there was a lot of love and thought put into this place. We chatted with one of the owners you can tell that they are dogs lovers. We used the agility backyard area & our dogs loved it. We stayed in the room with it’s own... more

My husband and I stumbled on the Mt. Snow B&B online and were lucky to get a room at the last minute. As fairly new dog owners, we felt liberated to be able to enjoy a long weekend skiing without abandoning our pooch. Yippee. Thank you for having such a cozy, relaxed environment. The breakfast was great ... just the... more

We have just returned from a week at the Paw House in Mount Snow, Vermont. My husband and I took our two Labs, Shelby and Kirby Sue, on vacation this year and we all had an excellent time. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Paula, who is one of the sweetest persons I ever met. She initially gave us... more

Or had more fun! As a single traveler with a dog, I have been looking for a place like this forever. It had everything my dog and I needed. In terms of meeting (exceeding) my needs, the service was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable (I was immediately given a printout of dog-friendly restaurants, and swimming and hiking places), the cleanliness and... more

This is a really cool place to bring your dog. Even without dogs it would be worth the price because of the big rooms and nice setting. My dog was in the park doing agility in the first hour we got there--for the first time being that she was only 4 months, but very fiesty terrier. She got good excercize... more

Excellent stay. We stayed at the Paw House in at Rutland and Mt. Snow(Dover). Both were excellent. Both inkeepers (Mike and Will) were very welcoming. I think Mike wins the cook-off. He makes the greatest breakfasts. While Mt. Snow has some amenities that Rutland does not, it does not take away from the pleasant surroundings and feelings of comfort at... more

Paw House was clean & relatively comfortable & we were warmly greeted by staff person "Mike" when we arrived. He was organized, friendly & very accommodating. However, we were disappointed in what was available for our dog. There were only two things - a fenced in agility area & a concrete building where people could put their pets in individual... more

We recently stayed at the Paw House Inn in Rutland VT. A pleasant surprise to find a super clean, even had towels for the dogs to dry off! & comfortable place for us and our corgi kids. Plenty of area to walk around, a small agility yard, and a playhouse where they could stay during breakfast. Great breakfast make by... more
