The cooking facilities consist of two gas burners --- no oven, no microwave, no coffee maker. There was an old stove-top perculator, but the top of the basket was missing. Coffee with grounds is better than no coffee! The bathroom floor gave clear indication of previous floods. It sagged, and moved, in places, when walked on. When the toilet stopped... more

our experience here was just okay. we were VERY cold for 2 nights, as the heating didn't quite work in our room. we were also kept up by squirrels running about in the attic right above us. chapin and joanie didn't seem to mind that we were unhappy. the room was clean, however bedding was ancient and uncomfortable. breakfast is... more

My husband and thirteen year old daughter spent one night at this lovely inn during Presidents week school vacation. We were delighted in making the reservation that this inn was so reasonable @ $120. with a wonderful breakfast. We were told that motel reservations in Ludlow would start @ $160. The innkeepers were warm and friendly and their inn is lovely and well kept. The breakfast was wonderful and all the thoughtful amenities were special. We were there for our third time and it was just as nice as the first time. more

This is a lovely Inn. The simple accomodations are warm and inviting. The innkeepers, Chapin and Joanie, are very pleasant and have a real sense of intuition for how to make each guest's stay enjoyable. The breakfasts are wonderful. Everything is very well prepared.
