This is a very special place. Robert is an incredible host. He is warm, friendly, and totally gracious. The food was delicious and creative, the room was beautifully decorated and the inn is not only charming but is has such an interesting history.Robert helped us take full advantage of all the places to go including museums, hiking, beautiful drives, restaurants,... more

In the interest of full disclosure, we have not stayed overnight at the Juniper Hill inn yet. We did go to dinner one evening while staying in Woodstock and had an amazing experience. We were there in the very slow season and only 2 other couples were dining, but the service was amazing and the food was wonderful. All the... more

We have been coming here for over a year and have vacationed here 6 times. My husband proposed to me at Juniper Hill Inn and it was so beautiful and romantic that a year later we had our wedding here too. It was perfect, a wedding weekend we'll never forget. It was all planned by Robert, and it couldn't have... more

We stayed here in Room #4 the weekend of December 5, 2008. We were greeted at the door by Robert, one of the inn keepers, who made us feel immediately welcome. He also offered us a no-charge upgrade as there were other rooms available and then showed us our room options - we ended up in Room #4 which had... more

We only visited this inn for dinner as we are local, but we appreciated the effort to source local food that Robert and his staff make. The food was interesting and in particular the lobster cheesecake was a delight. The dining room is unfussy and the ambiance relaxed, with a burning fire in the grate and pleasant background music. We... more

OMGosh! This is the ultimate spot for a foliage fantasy vacation. Next time i'm bringing a date instead of my best friend cuz it is THAT romantic. First of all, this B & B is gorgeous -- but not so ritzy/untouchable that u feel uncomfortable. Furnished with class and warmth! The innkeepers, Robert and Ari, are there to help and... more

This past August, we had a wonderful visit to the Juniper Hill Inn in Windsor, VT. The innkeepers, Robert and Ari were gracious hosts and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Robert gave us a fascinating rundown on the history of the inn. He told us about notable visitors, including two presidents each of whom wouldn't stay in the same... more

This is our experience . We stayed two nights, Sunday and Monday ,room 22. the room is small and cozy and has a outdoor porch. There is no closet for clothes, so short term stay only is advised in this room. The shower in this room is like the size of a phone booth. I found the public rooms very... more

Overall property location is good...remote area, yet close enough to the interstate highway to get around. Cons: 1. This is a b&b. Yet we were charged an additional $5 per day for a breakfast gratuity. This was not disclosed when we booked and was not on their website. 2. Breakfast was average. Nothing spectacular, yet we were still charged the... more
