This is a fisherman's hotel, period. We stopped on vacation late one night. Wanted to go over the bridge in the daylight. Although the hotel needs some work done in the housekeeping area and the overall appearance, I must say that the staff made up for that. What can I say other than this was the worst hotel I can remember staying in. My first clue was the teenager who would not check me in until after 3:00 PM, even though half the hotel was empty. was that after looking at 4 different rooms, which all were dirty and even though they claimed were all renovated were shabby. another couple was doing the same as we....trying to find something acceptable. we couldn't. the good thing was that the front desk person allowed us to a full credit. at least the help had some class. more

Recently stayed here, facilities were very clean and orderly. Continental breakfast, which I was told is to be opened this summer looks very promising. One of the better hotels in the Eastern Shore. more
