Got into town late and didn't want to run around looking for a place to stay...had to check in at an outside window...didn't feel very safe...but, it was cheap...checked in and the room was ok...but, tv didn't work...called the front desk and got changed to another room. Second room had burned out lightbulbs, tv remote didn't work...found there were no... More

We reserved a room here because it was close to UVA Hospital and was really affordable. The room that we got was descent - flat screen TV, fridge, microwave. Off the bat, the bathroom was not cleaned very well and the carpets were in desperate need of cleaning themselves. That picture on their website of the pool is just laughable!... More

I have stayed at this Econo Lodge several times in the past, but this was the first time I stayed there for about 2.5 years. It used to be a great value--not too expensive, but still clean and nice. However, this is no longer the case. The first thing we did when we checked in was kill a couple of... More

Well, we don't really expect a lot for $90 since we're going to see a concert, but not having a light in the bathroom for the duration of the stay was not acceptable. By the way, taking a shower in a small hotel room with no light is not good either! I tried to get over the fact that a... More

I was not expecting much from this hotel considering the price, but it was a lot nicer than i thought. I could not find a parking spot when we first got there, but we found more parking around the back. Check in went smooth. You know when are in the the girl at check in calls you honey. It was... This place is in need of a total refurbishment from the foundations up and rebuilt...The room smelt of stale smoke and damp. I did go and complain and the receptionist did offer to come and spray the room with febreeze... We slept fully clothed on top of the beds as they were as bad as the room. The pool had... More

We were forced to stay overnight due to the close proximity to UVA medical center. I was first impressed by the price of the rooms but soon after discovered why. A nuclear reactor must heat the water because it will burn you. It is most likely high pressure because it is turning to steam. There are always strange and shady... More

This is an excellent location. Across the street from John Paul Jones Arena and walking distance to campus and Scott Stadium. The room was clean and bedding was adequate for a "budget" hotel. Now on the downside. The door was bent and would not shut all the way. Thankfully, it still locked! #2 The shower runs hot/cold and the faucet... More

First off, I think it's awesome that owner of this place cuts and pastes the same canned response to every one of these 1 star reviews. Had to stay here for Fox Fields since all the other hotels near the school were booked. This was the most digesting excuse for a hotel I have ever seen. I can't believe that... More

Didn't read reviews before we checked in or else we would have moved on . Carpet was soaking wet and smelled awful. We were moved and this time to room that you could not operate air-con. So we checked out. Lady on desk was very apologetic. We stayed in a couple of other Econo Lodges during our road trip and... More
