The location is great for walking to Downtown, the Innkeeper is kind and the rooms are done very well, but for the price, we were definitely disappointed. This inn was perfect. I loved its setting, in the oldest part of Charlottesville, with the Inn itself of a dignified age (built in 1785), so you felt a sense of the history of the place. The Inn at Court Square was everything we saw on their website. Beautifully, tastefully decorated rooms, not country cliche. The beds made me melt into sleep. The room comes with a fantastic breakfast of quiche and French toast made by the in-house pastry chef Pat. I was made to feel like I was a guest in my favorite aunts home.... more
