Very disappointed in the Red Roof INN. I am a Senior citizen and was in a strange city because of surgery for my husband in UVA hospital. When I booked my reservation through someone at the desk directly, they told me that I could stay until Saturday or Sunday because of not knowing the day of discharge for my husband.... more

Stayed at the Red Roof Inn for 2 days in June 2007. This is basic hotel. Not expensive and don't expect much. Room was clean, but bathroom smelled moldy or musty. Staff is not friendly at all. I recently stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. i was visiting a family friend at uva hospital and i really enjoyed our stay. great location,good parking,great walking enviroment basically around the bend from the hospital. large rooms and a very nice and warm staff. reasonably priced for a couple..not too kid friendly..no pool. i recommend red roof... more
