My boyfriend and I wanted a relaxing weekend away, and once I saw 'three-course breakfast' on Foxfield Inn's website, I couldn't look at any other place. When we arrived Kathryn and Dan welcomed us so warmly, and we settled right into the beautiful room (Hunt Country- if you like horses I can't recommend it enough!). The breakfast each morning was... Our 2-night stay in the Garden Room was absolutely fantastic. It was only marred by the view of the gorgeous grounds of the inn (including an outdoor hot tub) because it was just too cold to really enjoy them. They really thought of everything for our stay - the welcome tour upon arrival, the wine/cheese gathering, TV in the main... More

We are very happy that this couple enjoyed their stay. Next time we will try to work on getting the weather to be a bit warmer so they can enjoy our outdoor areas. - PS the recipes will be with you soon, only one more to type up before I hit the send button. More

This was my second trip to the FoxField Inn. The first was probably 7-8 years ago (which was during a previous regime, as far as the innkeepers), but this B&B is still amongst the best I've ever been to. The rooms are very sizable and elegant. The things that stand out to me are the electric fireplace, double whirlpool jacuzzi... More

It is extremely pleasant when someone who has stayed at our inn returns. We are glad that we met your expectations, it still makes me a bit nervous when one of the previous innkeepers guests returns. I want their experience here to be just as good as it was before. Next time though do not wait 7-8 years before returning.... More

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of days after Christmas. It was my husband's first B&B experience... I think he's "hooked". Dan & Kathryn are so professional, courteous and hospitable. They really go out of their way to make your experience worthwhile. We visited several wineries and just simply relaxed. It was wonderful... and the breakfasts were... More

My husband and I just spent 2 nights at the Foxfield Inn and enjoyed every minute of our stay!! The Inn keepers certainly thought of everything to pamper their guests and make our stay enjoyable and memorable. The breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed our conversations with Dan, Kathryn and the other guests. We appreciated the insights and suggestions that... More

We are so happy this couple enjoyed their stay with us. They really enjoyed one of our favorite wineries in the area - King Family Vineyard - and liked our local stores for shopping. We look forward to having them visit us again. Dan & Kathryn More

The stress level for my wife and I immediately went down as soon as we walked in the door. There is honestly no way not to relax at the Foxfield Inn. The Garden room was great, the location was perfect. It was close enough to down town Charlottesville, the vineyards and Monticello to have fun, but still far enough away... More

One of our goals here at Foxfield Inn is to help couples de-stress from their daily lives. We are very glad that this couple was able to relax and rejuvenate while they were here. And, yes, I have emailed them the recipes for the main course of their breakfasts - Pumpkin Waffles and Hunt Country Eggs. I hope they enjoy... More

The inn exceeded all expectations-the hospitality was top notch. We loved the wine and cheese @ 5:00-and had fun chatting with the other guests. Kathryn's breakfasts were unreal-delicious and decadent . The jacuzzi/hot tub/cookies in the evening and early coffee before breakfast further embodied this attention to detail. How romantic it was having the fireplace in our room and soft... More

when we walked in the door all our senses were filled with warmth, dan and kathryn were very gracious and delightful, we felt like we were one of the family. The breakfasts were very original and gourmet, when we got home we found ourselves wishing we were there again for breakfast, but we will have to wait till next year. It... More

Nestled in between the farmlands and mountains of Charlottesville, VA, Foxfield Inn is a homey and relaxing place to get away. The innkeepers, Dan and Kathryn, really take the time and effort to make your stay unforgettable. Upon arrival, we were offered a glass of wine or beer while we unpacked, and in the evening the had cheese and local... More

We stayed for just one night but we will go back - and for longer! We stayed on 29th September in the Garden Room. The room was beautiful; every detail had been thought of and the view into the glorious garden was perfect. The gardens were lovely to sit in and relax and the outdoor hot tub was great. We... More
