Our weekend at the B&B was very enjoyable. The hosts were very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. Spent time in the sitting room with the wireless internet while spouse slept. Coffee available early. Bed very comfortable. 3 course breakfasts were delicious and filling. Loved it. more

The innkeepers were extremely kind and helpful and went out of their way to please. The rooms are very nice, but I wished the bed was a king size, rather than queen. There is a nice area with sweets, coffee, tea, soft drinks, water, etc that is open all the time for guests to enjoy. The gathering room and sunroom... more

We stayed one night at the Foxfield inn, the owners, Dan and Kathryn were wonderful hosts and the room was charming. They were very accomadating of our schedule, serving breakfast later in the morning and made the trip very memorable. more

Stayed here for two nights on the 12th and 13th of September and enjyoed every minute. We were on holiday travelling around Virginia and a little tired when we arrived but as soon as we were greeted by Kath, who knew who we were even before she opened the door, we knew we had found somewhere special. Totally agree with... more

A truly first-class experience from the wonderful quality of the rooms, the decor, the ambience, the unique breakfasts and the wonderful hosts. Kathryn and Dan (the hosts) have created a truly memorable atmosphere which was very relaxing, with a breakfast menu which has obviously been created with care and thought. Lots of nice touches abound, such as the hot tub,... more

We stayed for two nights and found this B&B to be one of the nicest B&B's we have ever stayed in. From the minute we walked in the front door to our two breakfasts, everything was absolutely first class. The room and common areas were beautrufully appouited. The grounds were very inviting ,a nd included a hammock, screened-in gazebo, and... more

Dan and Kathryn are wonderful hosts. They truly care about their guests. That showed from the first moment we arrived. They wanted to make sure we were comfortable. But the most delightful thing about our two days there were the outstanding breakfasts. Kathryn is a great cook. She plans and prepares lovingly. The accommodations were first class and spotlessly clean.... more

The innkeepers are very nice and attentive. The room was well kept. The breakfast was good, as were the recommendations for dinner downtown. The location gives you a feel for the hunt country and is only about a 15 min. drive from downtown. more

Well, this wonderful place was not part of the original itinerary. I was traveling with my friend and my 102 year old great aunt on our way to North Carolina from New York, when a family crisis forced me to change my plans. After speaking to Dan on the phone and advising him of my situation, he made me feel... more

Thanks to Kathryn and Dan for making our second stay at Foxfield very memorable. The Foxfield is like home away from home, except of course that our home is not nestled within view of the Blue Ridge mountains, and we don't make gourmet three course breakfasts as they do! Great location, superb service, and helpful recommendations and directions, the entire... more
