It was an extreemly hot day! My husband and I were to meet in Norfolk when he got off of the plane. We only had 8 hours to spend together. I was a little late so we made other arrangement to meet in Chesapeake. I had stayed in the Best Value Inn,years prior to my visit on August 14th of 2005. I was so sure of my choice that I did not even bother to check with my husband. When I arrived at the Inn, I was pleased with the lobby area and the service. Once I drove around the building, I noticed carts on wheels overflowing with trash/garbage. My room was 3 doors down from that. I should have known there would be a problem. My husband arrived about 15 minutes after I did. I checked to be sure the key worked, put my brief case in, and my husband and I went to dinner. After returning to the room, we turned on the lights and the television . My husband was headed to take a shower after such a long flight.
