“Used to be a Holiday Inn”

They took an old Holiday Inn and put glitz on it to make it a Marriott. The rooms are all the same size. They have simply added nice furnishings and nice accessories. There is no free breakfast and the breakfast that I had was poor. A cup of coffee at the bar downstairs cost me $4.

“Marriott has let me down of late,the Marriott Norfolk Chesapeake no Different”

We stayed one night at the Marriott Norfolk Chesapeake. We selected this hotel because we are loyal Marriott customers for 7 years, and we wanted a nice indoor pool so the kids could swim after a long day of driving. “Nothing special”

Below average Marriott. Dresser was all torn up from people opening bottles with the drawer. Front door was out of service my entire stay. Limited staff. Nice common areas and beds but overall a disappointment.

“Luxury in Greenbrier”

This is probably my favorite hotel in the Greenbrier area. Rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. Also, there’s decent artwork on the walls, and the front desk people are pleasant and helpful.
