Stayed with a group for 3 nights. The rooms smelled, some worse than others. Views are limited to a few rooms on the upper levels and toward the waterfront. I've been coming to Waterside Inn since 1988 and wouldn't trade it. The views are the best. The rooms have been upgraded, the beds and pillows are great. Everything was great - the room was nice and clean, fridge and microwave in the room, balcony overlooking the water, nice tv with lots of channels. The good reviews are for good reason. We liked this place a lot. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The private pier and pool are bonuses. We stayed in the Sunset hill condos which are right across from the hotel. It is a old Victorian house that they converted into four condo units. It was very clean, well soundproofed and had a small kitchen. We liked it because we could interact with our parents more than we could in separate hotel rooms and it was cheaper... more

We arrived in a rainstorm, and thought of a warm, dry, comfortable room to rest after a long trip. Instead, shortyly after unpacking, we noticed that the ceiling was leaking. My wife and I found this motel to be, in our opinion, excellent for us. It is in a quiet part of a quiet town. Room was clean and well maintained and the amenities were as advertised. The staff (most of which I believe are related) were pleasant and helpful. The off season price was attractive and represented good value. more
