We only stay at this Microtel when we are visiting Virginia Tech. The rooms are clean and the staff is great! We had an issue 1 time with a door that wouldn't lock and they immediately moved us to a new room. The breakfast doesn't have hot food items, but we usually go somewhere else for breakfast anyway.

I did not think the shower was safe to use. There were no hand grips and the floor was very slippery when wet. Metal bars need to be installed on the back wall and the floor treated with shower mats.

This property is just a bit off the beaten track. It is clean and very well-priced. The rooms are small but adequate. There is a guest laundromat and a surprisingly decent breakfast.
