The Stratford is a rundown, yucky motel. A cheap motel but not a cheap price so it's a terrible value. I've stayed in Danville several times in the last few months as my son is playing football for Hargrave. All the nice hotels run you $80-$100 a night. Don't go. What used to be is no more. Bar closed, restaurant closed. Room dirty. Towels small. Shower won't turn off. Loud full time government sponsored housing tenants loud and profane. Without a doubt the worst place I have ever stayed in the USA. Much like Saigon. more
