Was driving from Chincoteague to Appomattox and found the hotels there just awful. Did a u turn to the HI at Farmville and was delighted. Clean spacious rooms with a substantial b'fast. Pool area was great and had a fantastic nights sleep. Totally recommended! more

This is a brand new hotel located in a wonderful small Virginia town. It is a much updated arrangement on room design and comfort. My wife was looking for labels on pillows and mattresses so we could get some. I slept every night with no back ache for the first time in a long time. The staff is so polite.... more

Very nice hotel. Staff was extremely friendly & helpful. Room & bathroom were one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in. Had to call security in the middle of the night because of rowdy neighbors, and staff took care of it immediately. Will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. more
