We found the hotel fairly easy...a great place to stay if your driving up the Skyline Drive, maybe 10 minutes from the Front Royal entrance (which is the first entrance on Skyline). Very hard to find, but it is convenient to several restaurants. It's an older hotel with thin walls & floors that resulted in major issues with noise. There must have been an elephant staying in the room above me - it's the only explanation for the loud foot steps!! I could also hear the people talking on both sides of... more

The workers where friendly and the room rate was a great deal compared to other lodging establishments in the town. I highly recommend the motel to anyone planning on traveling in the area. more

We have found (up to this year), the Super 8 motels to be a little boring and plain. This one was very boring and very plain, in fact it was not clean or tidy, and we asked to change our room because there was hairs in the bath - lots of them: either the previous night's guest was a werewolf... more

Room was bit smelly. The pull out sofa was more like piling chair cushions on the floor. Breakfast was pitiful (gross donuts or toast). Blankets were old. A really depressing motel in such a beautiful and historic town. Very Sad. more
