I picked this place because the '40s glass block architecture looked interesting. The price was pretty good, around $50. Unfortunately, they couldn't put me in one of the rooms with a glass block corner. I ended up in a room that you had to enter through a little hallway.
This place is older, and a bit rickety. Everything was reasonably clean, but the carpet was worn. I had a mini-fridge and microwave at my disposal. The bathroom still had the original black and white tile, which was pretty cool. There used to be a pool out back, but it did not look like it had been used in a while.
