The Killahevlin is one of the best B&Bs we have visited. The hosts were very attentive, even providing us advice on our trip before we arrived. The in-room jaccuzi and secluded wood porch were unexpected extras. Breakfast was hearty and beautifully prepared. My husband and I recently celebrated our 4 year anniversary and chose to visit Killahevlin. We are from Richmond, VA so we took 64 and stopped by Luray Caverns on our way to Front Royal. We hadn't been to the Caverns since grade school, but it was very neat and interesting to go see it again so many years later.... more

As previously stated, the hosts were great. The B&B has its own mini pub where guests congregate, have (complimentary) drinks, talk about their days, and recommend places to go. The pub is stocked with beer, wine & soft drinks - and it also has a collection of menus and brochures from around the area, so it makes for a fun... more

Our first stay was in February of 2007. Since that first visit we vowed to make an annual return. We have stayed at other B & B's throughout Virginia and this is the only one that we have returned to and/or recommend. Tom and Kathy definitely know what hospitality is. We just returned from staying a night at the Killahevlin Inn. We wished we had stayed longer. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The property is very lovely, the grounds large and inviting and the inside amenities are also very nice. We stayed in the Blue Room. It is a very nice room with a huge bathroom and tub.... more
