We had a week booked in an older cabin and we were disappointed. Many of the appliances and things, including the TV and DVR didn't work. Our second week was in a Yurt because the staff accommodated us because of our disappointment the first week. We loved the yurt! Plush tent living with a wonderfully large deck to relax on.... more

My husband and I recently purchased into Bluegreen Resorts and this was our first vacation at one of their sites. We stayed in a two bedroom cabin that was clean with a comfortable bed. All the kitchen amenities were perfectly adequate and both TVs worked well. The floors were a bit off-level so some doors tended to swing shut, but... more

We just returned from Shenandoah Crossing. We stayed in a yurt, it was very nice, very clean and had all of the anemities. However, we did not know that a grill would be available on our deck- or we would have taken meat to grill and other groceries too, as the nearest grocery store is several miles away. The speed... more

I have been a bluegreen owner for a year, and have never been this dissapointed. There is not enough parking for the cabins, my husband had to drop myself and my 7mo old and 6yr old off near the cabin, and then go park in the treeline. There is not near enough lighting in ANY of the parking lots. The... more

My husband and I just returned from Shenandoah Crossing where we LOVED staying in our own private paradise...a luxury 2 bedroom yurt with wonderful amenities! Can you envision a "tent" with granite countertop/stainless steel kitchen? How about an all-tile bathroom with granite tops and a copper vessel sink? 2 flat screen TV's? A private outdoor sink and cabinet next to... more

We stayed in a 3 Bedroom lockoff townhome for 3 nights over the weekend from 8/28 - 8/31. Checkin was quick and easy. No line at 7pm Friday night. The whole 3 bedrooms townhome was not big compare to other 3 bedrooms lockoff villa I visited in other resort, but it is cozy and neat. We have a total of... more

My husband and I are owners with Bluegreen and we spent last week in a yurt at Shenandoah Crossing. Shenandoah Crossing has two parts to it. There is a lodge and some cabins, and campgrounds that are open to public and owned by another company, and there is the other side that is owned by Bluegreen. The only real difference... more

There is a new part and an old part - The old part has cabins that need to be remodled but they are very close to the lake (for view or fishing not swiming) - dirty like a campground. The New cabins are farther from the lake but they are very nice 4 Stars for these cabins. The Yurts are... more

Decent place to stay. Stayed in a cabin, nice parking. Carcoal grill on the porch, but don't expect propane. The place is "out" and has a nice country feel to it once you get there. They are doing some needed expanding. There is an RV park on site and the indoor pool was a little crowded and nothing to brag... more

We arrived here for Memorial Day weekend 2009, a 3 ½ hour’s drive from Smithfield. We had booked the Presidential site with concrete patio with furniture and gas grill with outside sink & hot tub/Jacuzzi that should have been cleaned upon arrival since it smelled, we booked our friends into a 3 bedrooms cabin with all the luxury amenities a... more
