We recently spent a weekend at Glen Gordon Manor, and probably can't find enough superlatives to describe the experience. The setting is stunningly beautiful - lawns and pastures, towering trees, mountains in the background. Our suite could not have been more comfortable or attractive, and the same can be said of the Lodge itself. Dayn and Nancy Smith, who own... More

This is a truly wonderful place to stay. The Inn is situated on 46 acres of beautiful rolling hills with horses and chickens. While close to everything, you feel miles away. Glen Gordon Manor has a lovely ambience conveyed through wonderful, hospitable yet casual service. Dayn, Nancy and Trent were great fun and make you feel right at home in... More

My wife and I went here for our anniversary on a one night stay. Absolutely perfect place in the rolling hills of Virginia at the base of the Shenandoahs. Dayn and Nancy, and their family and staff were absolutely superb hosts. Beautiful property and surrounding land, horses, chickens, an historic building, great room and such a relaxing, romantic and peaceful... More

My wife and I tried to book a weekend stay in the winter, but unfortunately they were all full. In hindsight, that turned out to be a good thing, as our weekend trip this past weekend was perfect -- every part of it. The food, the rooms, the views, and the hospitality were all impeccable. My wife and I love... More

For my wife’s special birthday celebration, we stayed April 2nd and 3rd at Glen Gordon Manor, our second stay there. The lodging, décor, food, service, ambience, and hospitality were impeccable & exemplary in every regard. We were greeted warmly and the aura of hospitality is indeed warm and genuine while being casual and effortless: hospitality with grace and élan. Having... More

My husband brought me here for my 48 birthday - Loved It! The views, the cottage, the food, the manor home, the area. We stayed in the cabin, which has a full kitchen and wireless. The bed is big and comfortable, the TV is the biggest I've ever seen, and the decor is beautiful. Breakfast in the main house was... More

My wife and I spent Valentine's Day and night at Glen Gordon Manor. I have to confess that I was somewhat skeptical of the unanimous 5 ratings on Trip Advisor. We left wishing that Trip Advisor had higher ratings than 5! If any place deserves one, it's Glen Gordon Manor. The owners were away on vacation during our visit, so... More

My husband surprised me with a stay for my 50th birthday. Our room (in the cottage) was immaculate and sumptuous. We loved the music piped through the room and bath. A big, deep soaking tub overlooking the horse pasture was the perfect spot to share some champagne. Breakfast was such a treat! It really is so decadent to have such... More

My wife and I stayed here this past May, and couldn't have been more pleased. After going back we felt like we were visiting old friends. Not only did Dayn, Nancy, and Trent make us feel at home, they outdid themselves with the meals they prepared. We have stayed at many 5 star resorts, yet none can compare to the... More
