It's nice to sometimes go for a independant rather than chain hotel. The rooms are grand with large wooden bedsteads and flat screen tvs. We did have to change rooms as the paper was peeling (there is a little maintenance required) and the airconditioner was very noisy but the second room solved these problems and the overall appearance was good.... more

We stayed at the Kirkley with a team/group. We were supposed to get complimentary fruit baskets for our coaches but there were none when we checked in.
