Pat and her son Jim run a wonderfully warm and welcoming bed and breakfast. We were welcomed by Jim and after getting the introductory tour were shown to our room with the offer of refreshments.
Jen soon arrived and offered us an excellent suggestion for dinner at the Depot Grill.
Our room was beautiful with crimson walls and an oriental flavor. It had a gorgeous queen size four poster bed and antique furniture.
When we returned from dinner we relaxed in the hot tub and then donned our robes.
Breakfast was a communal affair in the dining room with fresh fruit, yogurt, scones, sauasage, grits, fritta and fresh from the oven biscuits.
We went on our way feeling as if we had made new friends and sincerly regreting that we couldn't stay longer.
