If one is looking for an inexpensive place to spend the night this is a decent room for the price. It is nothing special but it was fairly clean and the room was a good size. There were a few minor maintenance issues that needed to be tended to. As with many hotels today, they have gone to energy saver CF light bulbs, making for poorly lit rooms. When I travel now, I carry a 4 pack of 100 watt incandescent light bulbs with me. I would not recommend this one for an extended stay but for a cheap one-nighter, it was OK. more

Stayed one night at the Super 8 on our way home through Virginia. The room was clean and nice and well worth the price of $45 plus tax. Management was courteous and helpful and would recommend this hotel for the price couscious traveler. very simple breakfast buffet with 2 cereals, bagels and cream cheese, toaster and microwave and coffee was an added bonus and nice way to get started in the morning. more
