A wonderful place to stay. Gorgeous location with well kept gardens, magnificent vistas, easily accessible from Charlottesville and major highways. Beautifully maintained, elegant B and B, with all the charms of an Inn full of history. Each spacious room has a different character. Public rooms and large porch (some rooms with balconies) are inviting for conversation or just quiet time.... more

We just returned from a two day getaway to the Mark Addy. This was our first stay in a Bed and Breakfast and we were so impressed. Our room, the Kensington, was wonderful. We admired the mountain view from our room. The bed was very comfortable and had the softest sheets! The grounds are beautiful. We spent most of our... more

My husband and I were traveling to the area and decided to make a romantic weekend of it - finally got our honeymoon! We booked the "romantic getaway" package and stayed in the Kensington. And what a lovely, relaxing time we had. Leslie and Rafi were both extremely hospitable and friendly, the food was absolutely wonderful and the room -... more

We stayed there while in the area for a wedding as it was close to both Charlottesville and the location of the wedding. It's a great location for visting local wineries and touring central VA. We found our stay most enjoyable from the way the rooms are decorated to the elaborate and delicious breakfasts served each morning. The proprietors could... more

This was an absolute beautiful place to stay! The accomodations were more than we had ever expected. My husband and I stayed in the Elena and the room was very clean with its own private bath and t.v. The bed and bedding was more comfortable than my own! Everything was top knotch and high quality. The wonderful hosts of the... more

B&B's take on a diverse character and it is a combination of both the physical elements of the Inn and the InnKeepers that gives the Inn its character . Well, we could not even have begun to imagine the lovely time we were going to have at this charming B&B tucked away in the mountains of Central Virginia, but it... more

My wife and I had our wedding at the Mark Addy on May 10th and were very satisfied with how everything went. We had a small wedding (15 guests) and we booked the inn for the entire weekend to house everyone. Leslie and Rafael were gracious hosts and did a wonderful job with their preparations and support to our event,... more

Quaint, "shabby-chic"historic inn with lots of character - stuffed with antiques and stories, the Mark Abby Inn was perfect for our two night birthday suprise getaway, Set on a knoll in a valley, the MA has some rooms which look towards the Blue Ridge Mountains. Easy access to hiking trails, Wintergreen or Charlottesville. We had a warm welcome and good... more

We went to Virginia to see friends and stayed at the Mark Addy. It was a beautiful bed and breakfast with breathtaking views. Just the drive up to the place was exciting. It's a very peaceful town and Mark Addy does a great job of making you feel comfortable. The hosts, Leslie and Raphael were wonderful hosts. Leslie gave us... more

The whole stay was fabulous from the moment we walked out of the rain into the foyer with a welcoming fire. The owners had fabulous information about the area and were more than happy to share when asked, but were not intrusive or overbearing in any way. Our room was donned beautifully and made us feel right at home. The... more
