We recently had a delightful two-night stay in the Schloss room at the Mark Addy Inn. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, and we especially enjoyed the charming private deck! The bathroom was a bit small, but any inconvenience was outweighed by the fact that it was well-stocked with high-quality linens and bath products and had several thoughtfully placed shelves... more

We had a great room in the front of the inn with another small room ensuite. Good bathroom and shower. Very quiet location. TV and free internet in the room. Breakfast very good. Ate in the dinigroom for dinner. Food was good, but quite expensive. They try and encourage eating there. There was not much information regarding any other eateries... more

We over nighted here on a wine tasting weekend in late September. Our hosts the Tals made us feel very welcome. We opted to take our evening meal onsite and were very pleased by the quality of the wines and food. Breakfast was also wonderful. We stayed in the smallest room, the Abiner Smoothie, which was was cozy and comfortable... more

My wife and I stayed for two nights while exploring this part of America. We loved the "old worldie" feel of the Mark Addy. It is very much on a par with other traditional Americian B&B's we have stayed at on other trips. There are lots of photo opportunities both inside and outside the house for the keen photogapher, particularly... more

We have been visiting the Mark Addy Inn for the last 3 yrs. and as always we appreciate the warmth and the attention given to us by the owners and staff. We love the Inn, the beautiful, breathtaking scenary and their breakfast is very good. I wish I could get out there often but on my one year getaway, the... more

My husband and I were looking for a nice weekend getaway. We stayed in the Mimosa room with an old fashioned clawfoot tub. We had a wonderful experience and felt very at home with Leslie and Rafi as our hosts. If you want a posh, dust free, animal free place go somewhere else. If you want a charming country inn... more

Quite simply, this is the best Bed and Breakfast that I've ever stayed at! And there are many reasons....To start, the hosts were extremely hospitable, flexible, and willing to do whatever it took to make my stay enjoyable. They were always accessible, even providing their cell phone numbers, so they could be reached at any time. The breakfasts were great--just... more

A lovely historic house in a beautiful setting, the Mark Addy Inn has massive potential, and the owners are very welcoming. However, the current economic situation has led them to cut corners and save on upkeep. It shows. The rooms look tired and the daily housekeeping missed details that matter (we had no clean towels in three days, for example... more

My wife and I were there with another couple right after Memorial Day. Our rooms were wonderful, the breakfasts not only delicious but masterfully presented, and Leslie and Raphael did all they could to make us comfortable. Perfect location for those who enjoy Virginia's wine country, or would like to see Charlottesville, or Monticello or go up to Wintergreen. One... more

we stayed at the Mark Addy to celebrate our anniversary. This was my first stay at a bed and breakfast. I would highly recommend the Mark Addy to anyone looking for relaxing time in a beautiful setting. It is centrally located close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and many of the wineries of the area. The hosts were simply wonderful.... more
