Hotel ishan is a great choice due to location, free WiFi, own restaurant.. Our room was large, big bathroom, balcony overlooking the ganges. Cleanliness is average, but only what you expect when you're paying 1000 rupees a night (double room with AC). Friendly staff, especially in the restaurant which serves decent food. The pasta dishes are pretty good.

We didn't book this hotel ourselves because we went to Rishikesh on a tourist travel package. I'm really glad they picked this one for us though. It is a gem.
