Stayed for 8 days total over New Year's. Desk staff are not the friendliest, but the housekeeping staff were very helpful. NY's is very noisy, especially in that part of White Sand Beach, but as we were in the "new building" it wasn't too bad. My own experiences confines only a standard room, but at all the atmosphere of the hotel was so different than in thai hotel usually.
