We were highly disappointed from the Blue Lagoon Resort. We were not expecting the comfort of a 5-star hotel, but at least a nice place to relax in peace. It just seems that the resort has seen better days... When was the last time it was properly maintained or renovated? The room was pleasant but the worn mattresses were short... More

Absolutely sorry about this, the main team is missing for the moment and we will try to understand what happened. We just know that many things are under renovation now, particulary the public bridge access to the beach, the reception and some rooms. More

I stayed here for a week on a recent trip to Koh Chang. The rooms facing the lagoon are lovely and each has different amenities. For 800 Baht, I splurged on having a fridge and kettle for a few of the nights. Reservations are necessary if you want the lagoon rooms. The more expensive, air- conditioned rooms don't seem worth... MAKE SURE YOU READ THE END OF THIS... Got the bungalow facing the water, one of us loved it but the other hates Mosquitos and bugs. And this place is some kind of breeding ground. We had to spray the room massively before leaving for dinner each night.. We ate at the restaurant, pretty good food. Service definitely lacks not... More

You are also "black listed" in some resort of Koh Chang too. There are some limits you cannot exceed . You can not attack and disrespect some people without legitimate reasons. Thai people are nice and friendly but they are not magicians. The team is the same since 2 years, the room maid could have so much opportunities to still... More

The grounds are lovely and have direct access to the beach without crossing road. Lagoon is pleasant. Our room was not on the lagoon but fronted to a pond with lotus flowers and ducks. Bungalows are simple but nice. Price excellent but no free water after first day, no beach towels and breakfast just OK. No TV room which is... More

We wanted to stay at Blue Lagoon but there wasn't room - book in advance if you want to stay in high season. However we visited the restaurant several times - the food was very tasty and the setting, right on the lagoon, is lovely. The mango sticky rice (one of the only places that did it on Koh Chang... Stayed here a year ago with my boyfriend. We had an amazing stay. The bungalows are not fancy, but thet are very cozy. Especially if you get one facing the lagoon, with a bamboo hammock. The area is very cozy, and the staff very friendly. They helped us with everything from laundry, renting a scooter, busstickets, trekking. The restaurant is... More

I have been on Koh Chang several times, but Blue Lagoon is definitely the best and most friendly place to stay. The owner Yaa is the most wonderful and warm woman and the staff is so friendly and nice. The resort is overlooking a very nice lagoon and very close to the beach. It is a very peaceful place with lots... More

At first we stayed in their rooms for 2000 bath (peak season) standard room across the street. The rooms were smelly and not so nice so we moved to a deluxe room on the beach and they were great. Both interior and exterior were nice and the rooms clean and fresh. We also stayed in one of their beachfront bungalows,... More

We (3 adults, one baby) very much enjoyed our stay at Blue Lagoon. The place is close to the beach, 50 meter walk and in walking distance to the shops and restaurants at main road. We have stayed at several places before on Ko Chang and were persuaded by the , even for Thai standards, exceptional friendliness and weloming of... More

This place was awesome! I'd recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Koh Chang. It's in a quiet area and is a cheap taxi ride from other major beaches. Good: - very short, beautiful walk to the beach - wonderful staff! They spoke great English. - beautiful bungalow (stayed in B5) - AC was perfect - mini fridge was... More
