I stayed here with three friends in one of the dorms and really liked the place. I don't remember finding any bugs in the beds as some previous reviewers have. No mosquitoes at this hostel and the small room with air conditioning (shared shower and toilet) is definitely worth it if you´re traveling in pairs. My only gripe is it´s next to the kitchen and it smelled like food initially because they left the little window open. The rooms were great for the price. Very clean, did not suffer from bed bugs. Very good location, nice common area with hammocks and pool. Extremely quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again. more

I'm not sure how you can balance the two--the hotel staff was accommodating and let us leave our stuff there during the day when we weren't staying the night, but all of us that stayed at Hotel Oasis got flea bites. Hostel sheets have blood on them and theyre completely unable to offer an alternative - it took a while to get them to offer to swap them but when they did, they were worse.
