Our family spent 2 nights at the Waldrast in late May 2007. The hotel is off a small road (a tiny bit of noise at night but FAR less than any other hotel in the entire area of Ehenbichl - just outside of Reutte). Beautiful area near Neuschwanstein, Garmisch, the Baroque Road in Germany and in Tyrol. Was mentioned in Rick Steves' book and we stayed two days. Wonderful family owners with huge Irish wolfhound (nothing fazes that dog). We were the only guests. Rooms furnished ski chalet style (they also run a ski school) and are charming.
