The hotel itself was very old. Its been sometime since I went from my car directly into my room. The interior of the room was very dated and the room itself was very noisy. We didn't go for the hotel it just happen to be the best that was near the golf course and Luray Caverns. We played at the... More

This hotel was clean and comfortable for being an older hotel. Our motor coach tour took us here on our way to And from Nashville. The staff were excellent. We were given breakfast and dinner on the two days we were there. The food was excellent and plentiful if you wanted second helpings. The apples fritters were to die for.... More

We stayed here one night. We were going to get on the Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park the next day, and this motel was the only one we found close by that looked nice enough. The room was neat and clean. Overall, it was a nice place. The restaurant there, called Johnny Appleseed's, had really good food.

Very welcoming lobby and staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Check-in was quick. Our room was clean and very comfortable. On site restaurant was good value (Johnny Appleseed) and hotel guests get 20% off. Very charming gift shop in restaurant as well. Overall an extremely pleasant and comfortable stay and would definitely stop there again.

Surely this inn could use updating in the bathrooms, but prices would have to go way up. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. Microfridges in every room. The gift shop is quaint. Restaurant not fancy, but food is tasty, especially the fried chicken and is accessible through hotel lobby. We have visited several times the past few years and enjoy... More

Our stay was horrible. SMOKE filled hallways (by the employees) burn marks on the bed spreads and even a small blood stain. Tried to use a towel off the bathroom rack after showering ..it smelled like a wet dog. Unbelievble how RUDE front desk staff was, could not care any less about or complaints.

We stopped here so we could go see the New Market Battlefield Civil War Museum. It was one of a few motels to choose from. They had two rooms available so we stayed there. The entrance was nice and the staff friendly. We got the room for $65 each. It was overpriced. But we didn't have a reservation. The room... More

When we stopped over in New Market on our drive south, I was a little apprehensive due to the location of the hotel, off the road and in back of other buildings, but there was no need. We found a pleasant welcome from the front desk, and hot spiced apple cider to warm us. The room was neat and clean,... More

We usually arrive late in the evening with no advance notice and the front desk staff is always very helpful. The rooms are a bit outdated but always very clean. Some of the rooms have an additional door to the outside which isnt my favorite, so I always ask for a room with no outside exit. A+ Thanks Guys
