The good bits: It's handy for the channel tunnel You can park easily. Cheaper than some of the hotels in the area but actually not that cheap. The bad bits: Rooms looked like army barracks. No reception. Room fairly clean but had strange musty smell. Spend the extra and stay at the Ibis or something. The Etap was quite grim. more

I wish the pillows were a bit bigger but that's the only downside. Within sight of the tunnel. Clean and very cheap - we paid £38 for 3 people and it would be cheaper still if the Pound was worth anything. A better bathroom than many hotels at twice the price. Stayed here overnight en route from Paris to UK, hotel is in an excellent location for Eurotunnel and Cite Europe shopping centre. Free Parking - shared with Ibis and Suitehotel. Usual Etap style room, nice and clean. Only issue was the noisy freezing air con which was controlled by reception, unlike others etaps which has your own control unit in each room. It was like an artic blast blowing on you all night. Location good opposite the shopping centre. more

A clean hotel but well used. Ideal for the Euro tunnel and Cite Europe. A very good breakfast for 5 euros. Book in advanced to arrive at weekends as it seemed very full for breakfast but the receptionist coped well. We stay here most year on our way back from Spain. more

Easy check in, clean rooms, very quite (may be we were lucky) Excellent location with a proximity of Cite Europe - major shopping center in Calais. Hotel shares parking with Ibis ** & Suitehotel ***, all three belong to same hotel chain. We turned up after deciding against staying in a hotel in the centre that we had booked. We were on our way from Holland to the UK via the ferry. The rooms are small, but clean and neat. Etap is Etap, you pay your money and you get what you know you are going to get..... except of course there are clean and new Etap and there are dirty and scruffy Etap, and this is definately the former. Accor hotels have this site sown up withe both Ibis and Suitehotel sharing the car park. Personally, I'm not sure... more
