Excellent hotel in a great location. Hotel Vent d'Ouest is listed as a one-star hotel, but its room and facilities are definitely as good, if not better than those of some two-star hotels. It's located near the main bus stop which is where all buses arrive and depart from Fécamp, and is about a 15 minute walk to the beach. Rooms are comfortably large enough for the rate we were paying (56euros per night) and very clean. Breakfast is provided each morning at a rate of 6euros, though we didn't try it. Hotel staff was patient and helpful and very pleasant. Fécamp itself is not a very large town, and a must-see is the Bénédictine Palace located about 10 minutes from the hotel. Overall, a very good deal for those wishing to have a short stay in Fécamp and enjoy good hotel services and facilities at the same time. more
