The situation of the hotel le Mottaret is excellent, its more or less ski in and out with a nice gentle run into Meribel to get you warmed up each day. We stayed here in feb 2006 the hotel food was very good and the staff were helpful, rooms were a bit small for 3. The location on the slopes was very good. Brilliant Hotel this one. The rooms are a bit basic and we had to squeeze three of us into one tiny room but we spent no time in our rooms anyway. Booked our ski holiday with travel agent and this was one of the only hotels in Meribel in our price range.
