This very comfortable bed and breakfast has two double rooms and a single room. It is located in the small village of Gutach which is home to the famous outdoor museum Vogtsbauernhof. The hosts (Haas family) are very nice and Frau Haas prepares an excellent breakfast served in her Frühstückzimmer (which also has a satellite TV). I happened to be in Gutach for their annual Erntedankfest (a thanksgiving day) when many of the locals dress up in their traditional outfits and parade with the local band. The Bollenhut type costumes are only worn in three local areas - Gutach, Wolfach and Hornberg. Each area of the Black Forest has it's own specific costumes and headgear. more
