We booked at this motel because the AAA listing said they took dogs -- something hard to find in that area. Have to admit, they had a pretty good place to walk the dogs. And, for that location, the price -- about $90 -- seemed pretty reasonable.
It was all downhill beyond that. We got an immediate clue when we opened the door and found a carpet-drying blower running inside. Whether it was a leaky roof or bathroom overflow, we could not tell. Anyway, how many rooms come "equipped" with a bathroom plunger?
We seriously considered looking for another place, but it was fairly late and the nearest motel that we knew took dogs was at least an hour drive away.
A call to the desk when the sink stopped up (clearly this had happened before) got promises, but no action. We finally used the "provided" plunger to clear it.
