Location is nice - in the Bourgos area, relatively quiet at night, with some activity during the day from local people going about their business, nothing like the crowded tourist-heavy seafront area. We had a great experience at the Apollon. The location was ideal - a short walk from the ferry dock and the center of Naxos town, but on a quiet street. My Wife and I stayed here for 4 nights while on a 14 day Island Hopping tour of the Greek Islands. We read about the Hotel in some tour guide books and were very happy with it. This hotel is a short walk (max 10 minutes with luggage) from the port. Our room was clean and had all the facilities you would expect from a mid-range place (a/c, TV, fridge and phone in room). the hotel is in a bad area of Naxos. The breakfast is short with out natural orange juice, with out milk, the coffee is bad. The people in recepcion is not very frendly. The rooms are with a horrible style, like very kich. more

A pretty good walk from the docks. Staff was not friendly and generally not at the front desk. Hallway lights are turned off at night so check where the light switches are if you go out at night. Generally clean, but there were little bugs on the bathroom floor. Extra charge for air conditioning use. more
