This was a great hotel. Family run with a great view right on the water. Our hosts were wonderful, the food was very good, and they were very helpful with sightseeing tips, car rental(it was driven to the hotel for us) and suggestions of where to have some good Greek food. Hotel Grotta is a great hotel for those staying in Naxos. This hotel is absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived until the day we left the Dimitris and Nicola were so accommodating and just great people. Excellent stay in this hotel. Definitely an hotel to recommend. The owners are really very helpfull and great hospitality. Rooms are quite big with a terrace (ask when you reserve for a seaview bedroom). Breakfast is really huge with home madn pastries. Location is about 5-10min to the center of Naxos but really not far. Excellent! Would stay no where else on the island. Very much like home, Hotel Grotta was so pleasant, family run you felt so safe and comfortable..we were here 2 nights and 3 full days. They gave us a lift to the ferry and when I asked about renting a car they called and he was there within 30 minutes...the view... more

We stayed for 5 nights at the Grotta and would rate it extremely highly. We had a fabulous view of the sunset (try and get a room on the first floor with a balcony if you want this), found Nikoletta and Dimitris who run the place extremely helpful, and thought the room was clean and great value for money. My girlfriend and I had a great 3-night stay at Hotel Grotta. The place was immaculate, and the owners could not have been more friendly. The breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious, and after that, it was a quick walk from the hotel into town for the day. The only downside is that the walk back to the hotel... more
