Right on the beach. The transfer from the port to the hotel never showed up so we can to take a cab but the hotel reimbursed us, which was nice. more

Location was definitely excellent. This hotel was recommended in the lonely planet guide as one of the best. We were very disappointed. The location IS excellent indeed and we had a room right on the water, but the receptionist/owner was not very nice. I suppose was hoping for an upper scale hotel. Breakfast was miserable! The first day we had... more

I was traveling with my 10 year old daughter and 78 year old mother and the hotel was perfect for both. Right on the beach and our room overlooked the water. Perfect for when my mom had had enough sun for her to go back and relax while my daughter and I enjoyed the beautiful crystal clear sandy water. George... more

We were thrilled when we got to the Asteria. Right smack bang on Ag. Georgios beach which is perfect if you have young kids but otherwise is still gorgeous! Crystal clear, aquamarine water but is kneedeep til about 75 metres out. We got shown to our room after being picked up from the Port and couldn't believe it. We had... more

Compared options through trip advisor and dealt direct with hotels for booking. This is is a delightful family run hotel that is located right on the beach. It is clean, a great location to the town, and very quiet area. We stayed 3 nights. Naxos is a wonderful island to explore with many great walks, and interior island places that... more

Hotel Asteria is located in a magical setting on Saint George beach at about 10-15 minutes walk distance from the port. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in May 2004, no reservations made and got a very good price. 25 EURO a night for the corner unit facing the ocean. It is recommended to go in the low... more

Hotel Asteria exceeded our expectations, we had a double bed (The first on our honeymoon!!) and a fantastic balcony looking out to sea. The hotel is right next to the beach and has a beach bar where you can sip cocktails. Our room also had a fridge. All this for only 45 Euros a night, it was amazing (breakfast not... more

We found the Asteria Hotel to be a nice hotel right on Ag Georgios beach. It was clean, the rooms were small, and the bathrooms a little dark and small. Our room had a real double bed (not 2 twins pushed together) and a balcony with a lovely view. The breakfast was adequate with coffee, breads, cheeses, hard boiled eggs,... more

Our family got really lucky with this property. The Lonely Planet guidebook had said that this hotel was a block off the beach, but the fact is, it's directly on the beach, in a prime location. Along this stretch of beach five to seven minutes walk from the center of Hora, the Hotel Asteria has a superb location. We walked... more

We selected the Asteria Hotel in Naxos because the location seemed perfect but we were a little concerned at what we would find as it was so cheap. To say we were pleasantly surprised would be the understatement of the year. The location is perfect, right on St. George Beach with Bars, Taverna's, Cafe's and crystal clear water that is... more
