We stayed with Despina just a week ago in Naxos. We arrived on the ferry late at night and we were glad to be met by Despina herself at her hotel. The room was more than adequate, we had a lovely view of the arch of Apollo. The location was endearing, with little noise, and felt like being at home.... more

What a wonderful place! The location was perfect, the rooms were excellent, and Despina and her family were incredibly gracious, flexible, and accommodating. This was my third stay at Despina Panteleou's.The situation is full of charm just below the castro in the maze of whitewashed buildings and alleyways.The best room is the one in the front downstairs next to the corridor.Despina greets me like a long lost family member and provides refeshments on arrival.It is just a short walk through the passageways to... more
