My wife and I enjoyed a restful 5 nights not going anywhere in particular other than walks along the beach and hiring a car for one day. The amenities satisfied our requirements, the service was excellent we ate in the restaurant each evening . We spent our holiday at " VILLA MEDUSA RESORT" in Naxos Island (Greece) this summer, 15 days (16-30 august). We really enjoyed the experience!! Our room was quite simple (although very clean) and the bathroom was small. No bathroom amenities (not even shampoo or bath gel) were provided. So why do we recommend this hotel? My husband and I stumbled upon the Villa Medusa by chance and decided to move there immediately from our hotel. It is not near anything, it's in the middle of nowhere, you have to take a road, a dirt road, a pebble road and a bumpy lane to get there. You have to cross villages, fields and even a cow... more
