We stayed at this hotel after taking a ferry from Holyhead and wanted an overnight stop en route to Kerry. This hotel served our purpose in every respect except that the quality of the evening meals was just about OK and quite expensive for what we got compared with meals we got elsewhere in Ireland during the following week. However,... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in April and were due to stay again in May but cancelled. It was one of our more disappointing choices in over 60 nights of travel and not up to the standard of other IBIS's we have stayed at or even most Travelodges in Britain. On arrival both the lift and our room smelt... More

I am very sorry you had a disapointing stay with us, regarding the smell in your room and lift area. I do apologise for this, even though we pride ourselves on being a non smoking hotel sometimes certain guests can abuse this. I do feel had you mentioned this to reception we could have provided a more suitable room and... More

I have now stayed at this hotel on 12 occasions generally for 3-4 nights (not weekends). The hotel which is a 2 star hotel easily meets the quality of other 4 star Dublin hotels for the bedrooms and quality of the rooms. Even when there are large groups staying at the hotel the room soundproofing is such that you can... More

I stayed with my husband at the Ibis Dublin and have no regrets. After picking your bags at the Airport in Terminal 2 you have to walk outside towards the Dublin Coach Stop. Ask, because is not well explained in the signs. There are buses for a lot of places. But the only double decker painted green is the Dublin... More

During our 16 days trip through Ireland we slept there for 5 nights ( we came back for 3 times ) in 5 different rooms. Rooms have a good size, ( biggest Ibis rooms we have ever seen ), clean; great beds, good bathrooms and very friendly and helpfull staff. Reception and the "Breakfast Ladies " as well. Our 3rd stay... I got a good deal by staying for 2 nights, and paid 54 euros per night including breakfast. My room was pretty dated, with spartan facilities, but the bed was very comfy, and the shower was very good too. Breakfast buffet was ok, a bit like a school canteen where the food is prepared to feed the masses over a... More

It's located far from the city, but easy accessible by tram (LUAS), for which we payed 18,70 euros each, for 7 days (3 zones, from Red Cow to the center, precisely Connolly). Nevertheless, the tram station is at about 5 minutes walk over a bridge built across the motorway. Near the tram station is also a Dublin Coach station, a... More

Only a short walk from the bus/tram terminal. We received a friendly welcome from the receptionist. This was our first visit to Dublin and we were surprised at how few Irish accents we heard. All the bars and restaurants have people from other countries in them and we found communication sometimes diificult. In the Ibis, there were a couple of... More
