We happened upon this B&B from a tip from a local business we were having lunch at -- and what a find! The place is very cute and very clean. They have a beautiful garden to relax in and you feel like you are staying in your own private bungalow with a private patio that looks into the garden. The hosts are very nice, and very "old world". I am not sure the level of English there since my boyfriend is Italian it wasn't an issue. This place is within close driving distance to Tropea. The sea I believe is walkable, although that we never headed that direction. I would stay here again. This part of Italy can be very spotty, especially because this region (Calabria) is quite poor, but this was 1st class. more
