Set in a beautiful orange orchard, lovely grounds. swimming pool are very nice. We went in early May. The swimming pool was too cold to go in it. The road right next to the property is busy and a bit noisy but not at night. We were in the old part of the villa which didn't have any air con and it was very damp and everything smelt of mould. It was the biggest apartment, the other appartments looked small but more modern so you probably wouldn't have this problem. There is a BBQ there and the people are very friendly. Tropea is a lovely town and the beaches are long white sandy beaches. Sicily is a short drive away.
