My friend and I (females in our 20's) traveled to Agerola and stayed in this hotel during our stay in the Amalfi Coast area. I had been living in Italy for two months previously, so my Italian was decent enough to get around (something I was very thankful for, especially when it came to the somewhat flaky and always interesting... more

This nice, family-run hotel is perfectly located just outside the crowded and "touristy" part of the Amalfi Coast, but within easy reach of all the attractions. Lots of fantastic footpaths with breathtaking views in the local area, and the hotel staff were more than happy to provide transportation to the beach. We were initially planning to get around using local... more

Arrived to the 2Torri on a group tour. I expected the hotel to be comfortable, but a bit basic. Was surprised to find that the rooms were all really nice and refurbished to a high standard. The staff did everything to make life comfortable for us, and the food was brilliant. A definite highlight on the tour was the charming... more

They charged us 91 Euro ($127) for a load of laundry. There was no price list in our room and they did not present bill until checkout. Also, we were stranded in Castellamare di Stabia because the SITA bus never came. We contacted the hotel and they sent a car. The bill was 100 Euro (20 Euro apiece) for a... more

We stayed at the hotel as part of an Exodus walking tour of the Amalfi coast. If you wanted to stay here and explore the Amalfi coast on your own you would need to have a car as it is about 30min bus ride out of the main town of Amalfi and the buses are interesting! On arrival at the... more

My wife and I have just returned from our second Exodus holiday at the Hotel Le Due Torri. The Hotel and staff are special to both of us and are the reason that we intend to return as independent travellers next year. Due Torri is situated on the Agerola plain, a bus ride or a heart in the mouth drive,... more

We stayed at the Due Torri 20th - 27th August for our daughter's wedding, she married an Agerolan. Nicola, his family and staff could not have been more helpful, caring or thoughtful. On our arrival late on Wednesday night they put on a beautiful meal of loacl delicacies - delicious. A wedding brings it's own special chaos and Nicola and... more

We wanted to walk the Amalfi Coast, but didn't fancy staying in Amalfi or other posh tourist resorts like Positano. Agerola is a 'real' village perched high above the sea, yet very close to really good walking country and only 30 mins on the bus to Amalfi. The walking is great -- several trails direct from the village and others... more

Spent a week here in this little village of Bomerano as base for a walking tour (great, can thoroughly recommend Exodus, especially if you're lucky enough to get Babara Lee as your guide). Hotel is family run by Nicola Acampora (hope I've got that right!) and other members of his family. Momma & Poppa put in an appearance at various... more

Part of a walking tour we did not book directly, but were encouraged by the reviews here. When we were arrived we were more than a little apprehensive. The town itself has little to commend it, and the hotel although clean and new has almost no atmosphere .. acres of ceramic floors and walls ... which is why it was... more
