Being a family of four (with 2 adult children 19 and 21), we were looking for a nice hotel within reach of the Amalfi Coast that would not be too costly. Since we were traveling over the Christmas holiday, some Amalfi Coast hotels were closed and the rest seemed pretty pricy. The Victoria Maiorino is in Cava de' Tirreni, a small city just inland from the south end of the Amalfi coast. The hotel is a bit worn but was adequate in terms of the quality of the rooms. The bathroom was a little small (though not excessively so for Italy) and the street noise kept us up part of the night (it was New Year's Eve and the local population was out partying pretty late). Parking is included in the room rate (we were driving a rental car around Italy on this trip) but is located in the lower level of the building next store - a rainstorm got us wet on the way out one day trying to get to the car.
