We booked this hotel as we were attending a concert at La Mortella, the home of the late Sir William Walton. This venue with its quite superb gardens is about ten minutes walk away. The port at Forio with regular boats to Naples is about twenty five minutes walk.

The hotel is about two minutes from the beach and in a quiet and very attractive setting. The gardens are charming and from the deck of the thermal pool there is a lovely view of the bay. There was also another larger pool.

The room we had was immaculately clean and had a balcony with a sea view. At dinner only two choices were offered for each course but the standard of the food was very high. Breakfast was simple but entirely acceptable.

All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. more
