The premises as well as the appartments are clean and well maintained. Seen in isolation, appartments here are probably good value. But there are the following pitfalls, which is why we would not recommend this facility unconditionally: 1) The mattresses were stone hard. We asked at the reception but were not offered any alternative. 2) On the night of arrival the adjacent Hotel America held its end-of-summer party, which came with open-air music until well after midnight. Since Baia Infreschi apparments are not air conditioned (the owner told me he wants to put in AC for the coming season) and the weather was still hot, we simply couldn't sleep. 3) Access to the Marina di Camerota beaches as well as the closest supermarkets is only possible by walking down the Via Bolivar, which is a small road without sidewalks and yet the main thoroughfare of the village (sidewalks are not commonplace, and if spotted, they are usually used as car parks). 4) The Marina di Camerota beaches are not... more
